Golf Instruction with Shane LeBaron Golf

Shane LeBaron is among the best young minds in golf instruction. Shane has worked with or studied under many of the countries elite teachers including Jim Hardy, Butch Harmon and Mike and Sandy LaBauve.

Shane is a Level 3 Jim Hardy “Plane Truth” Certified Instructor, has been voted by Golf Digest 2013 “Best Teachers in Your State”, was nominated for 2013 “Best in the Valley”, and is a member of the Callaway Golf Master Staff.

Shane was also nominated in 2014 for Golf Magazine Top 100 Instructors, in 2012 by Golf Digest for “Best Instructors Under 40″, in 2010 South Region College Golf Coach of the Year and a Top 50 US Kids Instructor.

Shane currently has students playing on the Champions Tour, Web.com Tour, Canadian Tour and LPGA Symetra Tour.

Shane spent 2003-2012 in the Hilton Head Island, South Carolina area as Director of Instruction at Belfair Golf Club and served as Director of Golf for the University of South Carolina Beaufort.  In 2012 Shane moved to Phoenix, Arizona to become the Director of Instruction at the Plane Truth Performance Center at the Wigwam Resort.

In May 2014, Shane moved to Lake Forest, Illinois to become the Director of Instruction at Knollwood Club where he currently teaches May-November. In the winter months, Shane teaches back in Phoenix, Arizona December-April.

Watching the AT&T on television this week I was amazed how golfers can be scrutinized. Jordan does some things that could be considered "abnormal" at 23 years of age this lad has 9 wins and 2 majors! Many factors make up a champion player. Beyond all we can now measure with some outstanding advanced technology- the thing we have no device to measure is what's inside!! That ability to close it out, dig deep, grind it out, stare down adversity and perform under extreme pressure. I hope we all have a understanding that there is no one way to swing a golf club.
